今日のShow ＆ Tellのテーマは「Imaginary War（空想の戦い）」でした。とても面白い話を作ってきた生徒、実話を基にした話を紹介してくれた生徒と色んな話がありましたね。勉強することが嫌い派 vs 勉強することが好き派、Boy vs Girl、兄弟喧嘩、蜂 vs かまきり等々、独創的な話で聞いている誰もが笑ってしまいましたね。
それでは生徒の発表をいくつか紹介します。

The battle is between Smartphones and Laptops. First, smartphones are light and small and can fit in your pocket. But laptops, they have a big screen and have a keyboard. Next, smartphone, you can decorate it by having cases and pop sockets. But laptops can have many tabs and if you want to look something up, you can search. But in my opinion, I think smartphones win because I want to decorate it and make it look nice. And my second reason is that even if laptops have a big screen and a keyboard, I don't think it's that important because phones have that too and the screen is not as big as the computer but they still have it and you can type on it like a computer. So I don't think it makes them better.

Do you know Komodo dragon? They live in Indonesia and have strong poison. If a lion and Komodo dragon fight, which do you think would win? Komodo dragon is the biggest lizard in the world, which is almost 3 meters. Lion is a little smaller, but it is faster than Komodo dragon, so if lion runs as fast as it could, maybe lion can win. But if Komodo dragon bites lion, lion would die soon because of the poison. So Komodo dragon can win. But I think lion would win because they have giant teeth and sharp claws to attack.
