今日のReading PracticeはGap Year（高校から大学に進学する前に１年間のお休みを使ってボランティアをしたり、海外に渡航して色んな経験をしたり働いたりすること）についてでした。日本では馴染みのないGap Yearですが、UKやAustraliaなどの海外では当たり前のことなんですね。Returned Kidsの生徒には是非ともGlobalな思考を培ってもらいたいです！
Show & Tellのテーマは「The rule you would like to abolish (廃止したいルール)」でした。多くの生徒が学校に関するルールを撤廃したいと言っていましたね。皆さん、将来偉くなって学校のルールを変えてください！

それでは生徒の発表を紹介します。
I would want to abolish my school's rule that when we go to school or go back home we cannot use bicycles. Because it would be more convenient for the students. Some have to go on trains or buses or have to walk for 30 mins. I have to go over a slope and it is tiring.
